Summer Mist

Glass, 39 by 23 inches.
Frame, 46 by 32 inches.

Summer settles on the land. A brood of short summer weeds struggle up through the detritus at the feet of some aspens, all of which fade behind a low morning mist above the dry grass.

Ingrid the Studio Dog, Roger’s companion, advisor, and motivator went to doggie heaven in December 2020. May she sleep well, and bark at/intimidate the UPS man, mailman, or cat. And even then she’s darn cute doing it.
