Glass, 23 by 39 inches.
Frame, 32 by 46 inches.
While taking a drive that passed near to Marble, Colorado, I was struck by the site of large, abandoned chunks of marble in a section of an old quarry that had been grown over with forest.
I first used the image in Marble Kodama (Op. 505) (which is currently on loan to the AIEP at the American Embassy in Kuala Lumpur), and decided I liked it so much, I would recreate it in a larger piece.
