Pismo Fine Art Glass
Glass, 19 by 39 inches.
Frame, 28 by 46 inches.
The assembling of minimalist trees and abstracted horizons, all rendered in a palette that could suggest fall, spring, and perhaps even summer has consumed me for most of a year now, as I delight in exploring the many variations possible within it.
This gentle rendition seems delightfully calm in its serenity, while collaged examinations of details offer minute clarity on this path through the woods.

Roger Thomas was born in Los Angeles, California in 1951. He began working with stained glass in the 1970’s, and by the 1980’s was developing his own innovative techniques with fused glass. After moving to Portland, OR to take a job at his favorite glass factory in 1988, he established his second studio and began to “make things” in earnest.
